Sontec has been awarded both the CHAS and SAFE CONTRACTOR accreditations.

A full review of policy and procedures had been carried out by our compliance
manager and both health and safety and environmental policies have been updated.
This is in line with our ISO9001 compliant quality procedures QP4, QP5 and QP6.

Our Health and Safety manager ensures all risk assessment and method statements are reviewed and site audits randomly carried out.
All sites where work is to be carried out are visited pre contract and risk assessed, no generic risk assessments are used.

All employees will have current in date JIB, IPAF, First Aid and AAC certificates.
They will also have been briefed, read and signed onto the methods statement.

A SMSTS/SSSTS qualified site foreman is appointed to every site to ensure a point of contact and ensure the
work is carried out in accordance with the method statement, risk assessment and
deviations / changes will have to be approved and re-assessed before ANY work is
to commence.

We have also implemented an open door policy where all staff are encouraged to
have their say in all matters relating to their health and safety at work.
